like michale told you, you can go by a professional and relax your hair,and also from time to time you can also pull straight your hair, by using a flat iron untill you are ready to permanetly get it straight.

There are many professional "straightening" products and services.
I strongly suggest you look for a salon that specializes in this service, especially if you have ethnic hair. Frankly, even if you do not, they are the experts in this area. The service and product used will depend on the texture of your hair, length, etc.
Please do not attempt this yourself. At the very least, find a specialized salon in this area and schedule a consult appointment. These are usually free. Then you can make a more educated decision. You many deicde that you like your curls after all.
